About me
From the conservatory to jazz: find your own voice.
Violinist, improviser, and teacher. Over 10 years accompanying musicians with classical training who want to learn to create in the moment.
My story
Classical violin gave me technique. Jazz gave me freedom.
I studied classical violin at the conservatory and trained with references in academic music. But something was missing: the possibility of creating in the moment, of conversing with other musicians without a score. That’s what I found in jazz.
Today I teach what I learned on that path: how to use classical technique as a foundation for improvising, listening, and creating living music. I work with violinists of all levels, online and in-person in Córdoba.
References and Influences
The music that shaped me.
My musical language has been shaped by the great jazz violin masters: Stéphane Grappelli, the elegant phrasing of Joe Venuti, the groove of Stuff Smith, and the modernity of Jean-Luc Ponty. In improvisation, I draw inspiration from Miles Davis, Bill Evans, and the entire tradition of bebop and post-bop. That convergence is where my way of teaching was born.
